1992 – 2009: Research Projects of Laboratory of Mineralogy – Geology, General Department, Agricultural University of Athens.

1993-2000: Teaching assistant in classes and laboratories of the Laboratory of Mineralogy – Geology, General Department, Agricultural University of Athens at undergraduate level.

2001-today: Research Assistant at the Department of Dynamic Tectonic Applied Geology, Faculty of Geology and Geo-Environment, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Teaching Assistant in classes and laboratories of the Department at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

2005-today: GIS Instructor at postgraduate level of Laboratory of Mineralogy – Geology, General Department, Agricultural University of Athens.

Feb 2010-Aug 2010: GIS Instructor at undergraduate level of Department of Dynamic Tectonic Applied Geology, Faculty of Geology and Geo-Environment, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Feb 2011-today: Member of the working group which advise the Faculty of Geology and Geoenvironment’s website.

March-April 2011: Participation in GIS seminars held at the University of Rhode Island and meetings with Professor Peter August and also with the GIS-staff at the Department of Natural Resources Science – Coastal Institute.

LECTURES

In 1993, conducted theoretical and practical teaching on Geographical Information Systems (100h) which was a subsidized by the ECM Seminar entitled “Use of remote sensing in protection of the environment”.

In 1995, conducted theoretical and practical teaching on Geographical Information Systems (10 h) which was a subsidized by the ECM Seminar entitled “Remote Sensing applications for geotechnical staff”.

She Conducted theoretical and practical teaching on both DOS and Windows operating systems, concerning software for word processing and statistical analysis, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in training seminars of Stacor Ford.

From December 2001 to date works as teaching assistant for undergraduate courses of Dynamic, Tectonic, Applied Geology Department, such as “Introduction to Geology”, “Structural Geology” “Geology of Greece,” “Introduction to Environmental Geology”, “Geological and Geoenvironmental Mapping” (teaching the use of Geographical Information Systems).

In 2009-2011 taught the course “Elements of Geology” by Postgraduate Program “Prevention and Management of Natural Disasters”.

In 2011 taught into the following Postgraduate programs:

  • “Prevention and Management of Natural Disasters” into “Geoinformatics and Data Analysis” and “Applications of GIS in Prevention – Management of Natural Disasters” courses.
  • “Oceanography and Management of Marine Environment” into “GIS and Remote Sensing” course.
  • “Master program of Dynamic Tectonic Applied Geology” into “Tectonic maps and GIS” course.

In 2007-2011 taught thirty (30) hours per year into “Science in Agriculture” Postgraduate Program of Agricultural University of Athens into “New Information Technologies for Design Works Infrastructure” course.
